Figma Launches AI Coding Tool ‘Make’ for All Users

0

Figma has launched its AI coding tool, Figma Make, now accessible to all users, albeit with varying functionality based on subscription plans. Currently in beta, Figma Make allows users to upload design references, facilitating the creation of prototypes and apps. Users can enhance their design experience by adjusting elements like formatting and font style through prompts. To facilitate usage, Figma has implemented a credit system for its AI features. Depending on their subscription, users on the View, Collab, and Dev Seat plans will have limited credits for utilizing these tools. Additionally, Figma is promoting two other AI features—Make and Edit Image and Boost Resolution—both moving from beta to general availability. With this expansion, Figma aims to enhance user experience and streamline the design process, positioning itself as a leader in AI-driven design technology.
