Available to university students in the U.S., Japan, Indonesia, Korea, and Brazil, the plan includes advanced tools like the Gemini 2.5 Pro chatbot, Deep Research model, NotebookLM for custom lessons, video generator Veo 3, and coding assistant Jules.
Google also commits $1 billion to AI education over the next three years, launching the AI for Education Accelerator to offer free training and Google Career Certificates. A notable feature, Guided Learning mode in Gemini, fosters deeper understanding through conversational learning and step-by-step explanations.
