Google has begun rolling out its Gemini screen automation feature on the Galaxy S26, offering users automated functionalities for popular apps like Lyft, Uber, GrubHub, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Starbucks. The feature operates within a virtual window on your device, with requests processed via the cloud. Free accounts are limited to 5 requests daily, while Google AI Plus members can make 12 requests for $7.99/month, and AI Pro subscribers can access 20 requests for $19.99/month. The premium Google AI Ultra plan at $249.99 allows for 120 daily requests. This functionality supports various commands like booking rides or ordering food and groceries. Notably, Gemini screen automation is distinct from the Gemini Agent, which is exclusive to AI Ultra subscribers and allows 200 daily requests through a live web browser in the cloud. Currently, the feature is available in the U.S. and Korea, with plans for expansion to other Pixel devices.
