Google Gemini, the AI chatbot, has improved notably with updates, yet clarity on its subscription tiers has been lacking. Recently, Google addressed these concerns on its support page, detailing access limits for free and paid users. The “Gemini Apps limits and upgrades” page specifies that free users have access to five prompts daily, while AI Pro ($20/month) and AI Ultra ($250/month) users can enjoy 100 and 500 prompts, respectively. Regardless of subscription, all users receive 20 Audio Overviews per day. Imaging capabilities stand at 100 generations/edits daily for basic users but rise to 1,000 for Pro and Ultra subscribers. Moreover, only Pro tier users can generate three videos per day, while Ultra users can create five. Importantly, access to new features remains a perk for Pro and Ultra users. However, it appears this update is currently US-specific, leaving other regions with outdated information. This transparency aids users in choosing the right subscription plan.
