Google AI Mode getting redesign, agentic booking expands globally

Google’s AI Mode is receiving a significant redesign, introducing a new bottom sheet prompt box for enhanced user experience on both Android and iOS. Key features include large buttons for Gallery and Camera, with “Create images” available on mobile, and a switcher for “Gemini 3 models.” This updated interface is gradually rolling out to stable users.

Additionally, Google’s AI Mode is broadening its agentic dining capabilities to international markets, including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK. Users can now make restaurant reservations by simply specifying their desired time, location, cuisine, party size, or ambiance. The AI will browse multiple reservation platforms to find suitable options. This feature enhances convenience in planning meals, making it easy for users to enjoy dining experiences worldwide. No Lab opt-in is required for access, making the upgrade user-friendly and accessible.
