Google’s Gemini 3 has revamped its model usage limits, separating the “shared pool” for enhanced user experience. The Gemini app now features three models: Fast (Gemini 3 Flash), Thinking (Gemini 3 Flash), and Pro (Gemini 3 Pro). At launch, both Thinking and Pro models had a limit of 100 prompts/day for AI Pro subscribers and 500 for AI Ultra users. The changes address user feedback for improved precision in model selection. Now, the Thinking model provides 300 prompts/day for AI Pro and 1500 for AI Ultra, while the Pro model maintains a limit of 100 and 500 prompts/day, respectively. This independent quota system allows users to easily switch between models without affecting limits, enabling more efficient problem-solving and coding tasks. Additionally, free users now have “Basic access” to both models, optimizing their experience with Gemini’s capabilities.
