Google Finance is enhancing its platform with a new Deep Search feature, integrating AI to boost its capabilities. Announced on Thursday, this feature allows users to pose complex questions to the AI chatbot, delivering detailed, cited responses using Google’s advanced Gemini AI models. The Deep Search option can be accessed easily in the app, enhancing user experience and understanding by providing a research plan. Early access is available through Google Labs, although users may encounter usage limits, particularly for higher-tier subscribers. In addition to AI improvements, Google Finance will incorporate prediction market data from Kalshi and Polymarket, allowing users to inquire about future market events directly. A recent “earnings” tab has also been added to track earnings calls more efficiently. While the upgraded AI features are rolling out in the US, Google Finance will launch in India this week, supporting English and Hindi, but without the latest enhancements.
