Google has revised access guidelines for Gemini 3 Pro, resulting in more limitations for free users. This change follows the recent launch of Gemini 3, a popular new language model that powers various services. The tiered access system includes free access through the Gemini app, a paid option with Google AI Pro ($19.99/month), and Google AI Ultra ($249.99/month). Initially, free users could access five prompts daily and three images from Gemini Banana Pro, but now limits are more fluid, with Gemini Banana Pro restricted to two images per day. This could be Google’s strategy to prioritize paying customers or manage increased demand effectively. Google noted these limits may change without notice due to capacity constraints, especially amid spikes in activity. Additionally, the company is currently offering a free month of Google AI Pro and discounts for Google AI Ultra, along with benefits for Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 users.
