These models assist in tracking environmental changes, such as dry rivers or harmful algae blooms, crucial for public health and urban planning. Currently in testing on Google Cloud, the AI capabilities enhance Google Search and Maps, making them vital tools during crises, as evidenced during the 2025 California wildfires. Despite competition from local services like Mappls in India, Google aims to provide comprehensive geospatial solutions, continuing its leadership in the AI-driven geospatial landscape.
