Google Flights is introducing an AI-driven feature called Flight Deals, designed to simplify flight searches for travelers. This tool allows users to access a conversational chatbox where they can specify their travel preferences, such as dates and destinations, without navigating complex search tools. Unlike traditional Google Flights, which resembles a manual process, Flight Deals aims to make finding affordable flights more intuitive and accessible to all. Users can explore dynamic trip suggestions tailored to their location, even before initiating a search. Creatively phrased requests like “economy class flight from New York to LA in one month” or “10-day ski trip at a top resort” are encouraged. Currently in beta in the U.S., Canada, and India, Flight Deals will also enable users to filter out basic economy fares, providing a more comprehensive travel experience. The feature is slated for full rollout soon, enhancing the way travelers discover the best flight deals efficiently.
