Google Photos is unveiling an exciting new feature called “Me Meme,” which empowers users to create personalized memes using AI technology. Initially spotted last October, the feature allows for the generation of humorous images ideal for sharing with friends and family. While currently experimental, users are encouraged to upload well-lit, focused, front-facing photos for the best results, although output may vary in quality. To utilize the Me Meme feature, users should open the Google Photos app, tap on “Create,” select “Me Meme,” choose a template, upload their photo, and then generate the meme. The feature will be rolling out to U.S. users on iOS and Android in the coming weeks. Alongside Me Meme, Google has announced a new Personal Intelligence feature for Gmail and Google Photos, designed to provide tailored responses based on user interests and habits, although it will be disabled by default.
