Google DeepMind has launched Lyria 3, an innovative AI model for music creation integrated into the Gemini app. This advanced tool allows users to create original 30-second music clips—complete with melody and lyrics—from text prompts, images, or videos in seconds. Available in English and other languages, it also offers a Hebrew beta version. Users gain extensive creative control, choosing genres, vocal styles, and rhythms. Notably, Lyria 3 autonomously generates song lyrics based on user input, enhancing originality. The process unfolds through the app’s “Tools” tab, where users can define their projects or upload visual inspiration. Each music track is paired with an auto-generated cover image from the Nano Banana model. Google prioritizes original self-expression, incorporating filters to avoid duplicating protected works. Audio files include SynthID technology for AI-generated content identification, enhancing transparency. The tool aims to support YouTube creators with the new Dream Track feature, while ensuring responsible tech usage through industry collaboration.
