With tools like Google NotebookLM, students can upload documents for audio summaries and video overviews, enriching the learning experience. Although Google offers a paid Workspace with Gemini add-ons for $18 per user monthly, educational discounts are available. This initiative raises concerns among teachers about AI’s potential to promote cheating, prompting discussions about balancing technological benefits with academic integrity. Overall, Gemini aims to integrate AI seamlessly into classrooms, becoming as essential as a laptop by the upcoming fall semester.
