Key features include 10 new natural-sounding voices, smarter task suggestions for shopping and cooking, and advanced functionalities such as “Gemini Live” for dynamic conversations and “Home Brief” for daily updates from smart cameras. Additionally, Gemini enriches smart camera alerts by providing detailed recognition, like identifying delivery drivers. The rollout begins as part of an early access program in the Google Home app, with core upgrades available for free. However, advanced features like Gemini Live will be included in a new Google Home Premium subscription, starting at $10 per month, which also comes bundled with Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions.
