Homemove, a residential buying and selling platform, has acquired Home.co.uk, a pioneering UK property website, enhancing its goal of becoming the most comprehensive free-to-list platform for estate agents and home movers. This acquisition follows Homemove’s $5 million growth funding secured to accelerate national expansion. By leveraging AI technology and Home.co.uk’s trusted market data, the partnership aims to streamline the moving process from searching to moving in—all on one user-friendly interface. Co-founder and CEO James Freestone emphasized the shift toward a product-led listings destination, ensuring free listings for estate agents and focusing on enhancing the home buying and selling experience. The platform will introduce improved features like faster searches and integrated agent messaging by 2025, while maintaining the Home.co.uk brand. Advisers Ben Horton and Doug Shephard will contribute strategically for twelve months, setting the foundation for a modern property market ecosystem.
