I recently interviewed Peter Gostev, AI capability lead at Arena.ai, who showcased the innovative BullshitBench, or defecation test. During our conversation, he shared a compelling use of AI agents. While editing 50 photos in Adobe Lightroom, Gostev avoided the tedious manual denoising process by utilizing OpenAI’s Codex AI coding service. “I just got Codex to work out how to do that,” he explained, highlighting its ability to automate tasks without any formal support or plugins. This achievement underscores the evolving capabilities of AI, which can now autonomously navigate and operate software like a human, often surpassing human efficiency.
