The International Labor Organization (ILO) has introduced ReguLens, an AI-driven digital platform that enhances how employer organizations analyze new labor regulations and prepare policy stances. Developed by the ILO’s International Training Centre in Turin, ReguLens addresses the urgent need for organizations to swiftly respond to regulatory changes, often under tight timelines and limited resources. Users can upload regulatory documents and receive a structured analysis in around 60 seconds, effectively streamlining early-stage policy reviews.
This platform not only contextualizes data according to specific organizational needs but also supports advocacy efforts by evaluating the potential impact of regulations and mapping key stakeholders. ReguLens is currently being piloted in about 20 countries, with promising feedback on its efficiency and reliability. Planned future enhancements aim to expand customization options and benchmarking features.
In an era of intensified regulatory scrutiny, as seen in markets like Mexico, ReguLens aims to equip organizations with the necessary tools to navigate compliance challenges more effectively.
