Abu Dhabi has unveiled Jais 2, the world’s premier open-weight Arabic Large Language Model (LLM), developed by Inception (a G42 company), Cerebras Systems, and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). With 70 billion parameters, Jais 2 is trained on the most extensive Arabic-first dataset, enhancing reasoning and fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects. Its advanced architecture ensures robust performance, even in English, while effectively handling informal language and code-switching.
Jais 2 includes a safety-first framework, integrating instruction tuning and user feedback, making it adaptable and reliable.
