The application of AI tools in academic research is increasingly vital, according to Professor Dr. Md Shawkat Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR). During a workshop on ‘Application of AI Tools in Academic Research,’ he emphasized that adapting to technology is essential for upcoming leaders. The event, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), featured a keynote by Professor Dr. Imran Mahmud from Daffodil International University, focusing on AI’s role in research. Dr. Ali highlighted the necessity for students across disciplines at BRUR and other institutions to enhance their digital skills using technology. He urged students to employ AI tools that benefit the country. The workshop attracted teachers from various departments, showcasing the university’s commitment to integrating technology in education.
