To access this feature, simply click on the ‘plus’ menu for “Files” on mobile or “Upload files” on the web. Free users can upload audio files of up to 10 minutes, while Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can upload files up to 3 hours long. This functionality is particularly beneficial for transcribing audio, complementing existing video support. In addition, users can upload various file types, with independent limits: video files can be up to 5 minutes (free) or 1 hour (paid) and can reach sizes of 2 GB, while other supported files are limited to 100 MB. Users can also share ZIP files containing up to 10 files, streamlining file management and collaboration within the Gemini app.
