Judge Challenges Musk’s $134 Billion Claim in OpenAI Case

Elon Musk’s lawsuit against OpenAI is under scrutiny as federal judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers questions his $134 billion damage claim, labeling it as based on “numbers out of air.” Despite this skepticism, Rogers permitted the case to proceed to jury deliberation. Musk, a co-founder of OpenAI, alleges fraud by the company and its CEO, Sam Altman, for abandoning its nonprofit roots after Musk’s substantial donations.
