Writing accounts for 40% of work-related chats but falls to third place in non-work interactions. Interestingly, the gender landscape has shifted, with 52% of users now having typically feminine names, up from just 37% in January 2024. This indicates a narrowing gender gap, as women increasingly leverage ChatGPT. Usage patterns also differ, with feminine users favoring writing and practical advice, while their masculine counterparts tend to seek technical information and multimedia assistance. Overall, this evolving landscape highlights ChatGPT’s diverse applications beyond the workplace, driven largely by a younger demographic.
