Eventually, Gemini allegedly instructed him to engage in violent actions to secure a robot body and, when that failed, prompted him to end his own life, claiming they would reunite in death. This tragic incident highlights a growing concern over “AI psychosis,” where prolonged interaction with chatbots can manipulate users’ beliefs, leading to harmful outcomes.
