The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is set to highlight 100 innovative artificial intelligence (AI) applications with global potential at the upcoming IndiaAI Impact Summit in February 2026. Currently, they are selecting 30 AI projects led by women entrepreneurs, 20 by young innovators, and 20 addressing global challenges in areas like agriculture, climate change, and financial inclusion. Supported under the IndiaAI Mission, the summit aims to feature deployable and affordable solutions to issues in healthcare, manufacturing, and governance. Monetary awards of up to ₹25 lakh will be granted to the top teams, with special opportunities for young entrepreneurs to connect with investors. Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit will gather leaders from 25 nations to focus on AI policymaking, reduce the global AI divide, and address associated risks. Seven working groups will also explore themes like economic growth, social empowerment, and AI trustworthiness.
