Mentoro, a nonprofit mentorship program founded by Sandra Abi-Rashed and Melanie Frappa in Montreal, is transforming Miami’s tech landscape through informal coffee conversations and workshops. Established a decade ago, the program has expanded to New York and Miami, connecting over 1,500 mentors and mentees. As of 2020, Mentoro has launched themed cohorts, with the latest one focusing on Data, AI, & Tech, set to commence this fall.
Participants engage in three one-on-one sessions and exclusive workshops covering self-advocacy, LinkedIn strategies, and industry-specific skills. This cohort offers access to seasoned mentors in data science, AI, and cybersecurity, fostering professional growth and community support.
