Recent trends show that nearly 10% of the fastest-growing YouTube channels are now exclusively AI-focused. The Vibes feed, available in the US and 40+ other countries (excluding the UK), showcases a variety of quirky clips, such as a dad humorously calculating a tip on a lunch bill. Meta encourages user interaction by allowing content creation and remixing. While Meta utilizes its own AI models, Vibes will leverage video generation from Midjourney and Black Forest. This launch coincides with discussions about “workslop” in workplaces, where low-quality AI-generated documents are increasingly common, highlighting the impact of AI in both social media and professional environments.
