Microsoft recently launched Copilot Cowork, an advanced AI tool powered by Anthropic’s Claude Cowork, now available in early access via its Frontier program. Designed for Microsoft 365, Copilot Cowork enhances productivity by managing long, multi-step tasks. Users can define desired outcomes, and the AI generates a detailed action plan while providing real-time progress updates. This tool is versatile, accommodating both one-time requests and recurring tasks like budget reviews.
Moreover, Microsoft’s Researcher tool receives significant upgrades. The new Critique feature involves collaboration between OpenAI’s GPT and Claude, enhancing response accuracy by 13.8% on the DRACO benchmark. Another addition, the Council model, allows side-by-side comparisons of outputs from different AI models, showcasing their unique perspectives. These innovations are part of Wave 3 of Microsoft 365 Copilot, aiming to evolve AI from an experimental tool to an indispensable collaborator, streamlining workflows and decision-making processes.
