Mirantis has introduced a suite of services aimed at organizations deploying AI workloads using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers on Kubernetes. Randy Bias, VP of open source strategy at Mirantis, noted that the MCP AdaptiveOps service offers direct access to expert engineering teams, helping internal IT staff learn to effectively manage MCP server deployments. Originally created by Anthropic, MCP is becoming a standard for making data accessible to AI applications. However, the lack of IT expertise for managing these workloads creates challenges. Mirantis’ services will enable teams to bridge this skills gap, facilitating both greenfield and existing MCP server audits to optimize alignment with enterprise ecosystems. The rapidly growing demand for AI applications on Kubernetes emphasizes the need for ongoing operational support and training for IT professionals. As Kubernetes becomes integral for scaling AI workloads, organizations must overcome management challenges to successfully operationalize AI.
