At MWC Doha 2025, the GSMA Mobile AI Community Roundtable gathered global telecom leaders to explore the future of mobile AI and intelligent networks. Keynote speaker Xu Hui from Huawei highlighted that Mobile AI has evolved beyond expectations, with personal, vehicle, and embodied agents reshaping daily life and requiring enhanced connectivity. By 2035, networks are expected to support around 900 billion intelligent agents.

The rise of AI-native devices, from smartphones to wearables, is driving demand for faster, balanced uplink and downlink capacities. In vehicles, AI agents are enhancing journeys through immersive content and Level 2+ autonomous systems.

Embodied agents, like robots, are emerging across industries, benefitting from 5G-A’s ultra-low latency, thus enabling real-time operation and extensive capabilities. To support increased data demands, telecom companies must collaborate on the development of an Agents over NR network, fostering an agent-centric ecosystem essential for the mobile AI revolution.
