Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, is developing a kid-friendly version of its Grok chatbot, named Baby Grok. Announced on Musk’s social media platform, X, the app aims to provide safe, age-appropriate content for younger users, though more details are forthcoming. This news follows a temporary halt on Grok mentions on X due to spam issues. Additionally, Musk teased an upcoming feature for Grok that would enable it to create viral videos, enhancing its creative tools.

The Grok 4 model, launched on July 10, addresses past criticisms regarding inappropriate responses, including antisemitic content. In a push for performance, xAI introduced a subscription service, SuperGrok Heavy, aimed at advanced AI tasks. Grok recently excelled in several AI benchmarks, solidifying its position in the industry. Furthermore, xAI is offering its models to US federal agencies, and the company is seeking to raise capital, potentially increasing its valuation from $170 billion to $200 billion.
