Ohio University Chillicothe is hosting two free workshops focused on artificial intelligence: “Unlocking the Power of AI” and “Mastering AI Prompting.” Led by Interim Dean Mike Lafreniere, these non-credit sessions aim to educate students, faculty, staff, and community members on leveraging AI tools to enhance learning and productivity.
The first workshop, “Unlocking the Power of AI,” covers fundamental AI platforms like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot through hands-on activities on October 29, November 3, and November 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The second, “Mastering AI Prompting,” will teach participants how to create effective multi-step prompts to tackle real-world challenges, suitable for those with basic AI knowledge. Sessions are on October 30, November 4, and November 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
