Announced at the Oktane 2025 conference, features enhance both the Okta and Auth0 platforms, promoting secure integration of AI within an identity security fabric designed to manage human and non-human identities. Okta’s research indicates that 91% of organizations utilize AI agents, but only 10% have governance strategies in place. The Okta for AI Agents feature ensures visibility and control over non-human identities and implements least-privilege access rules. Additionally, the new Cross App Access (XAA) standard secures agent-to-app communications, endorsed by industry leaders like AWS and Box. Furthermore, the Verifiable Digital Credentials (VDC) platform addresses AI-powered identity fraud, allowing organizations to issue and verify tamper-proof digital credentials.
