Unlike encrypted messaging apps like WhatsApp, ChatGPT conversations are not secure, allowing OpenAI to monitor and analyze interactions for AI improvements. This lack of privacy assurance has led some, including Von, to limit their usage of the chatbot. Additionally, OpenAI is currently appealing a court order to retain user logs indefinitely, highlighting the ongoing privacy concerns related to AI interactions.
