OpenAI has announced its acquisition of Software Applications Incorporated (SAI), the creators of the Mac app Sky, an AI language interface that understands context and integrates seamlessly with other applications. This strategic move, highlighted by ChatGPT CEO Nick Turley, aims to enhance daily Mac workflows, making ChatGPT a more intuitive tool for users. The entire Sky team will join OpenAI to deepen the integration of their technology with Mac systems, aligning with OpenAI’s mission to promote ChatGPT-powered automation.
