OpenAI has begun rolling out the ChatGPT Agent feature to users with a $20 Plus subscription, alongside its availability for $200 Pro subscribers. However, the company cautions that the rollout may take several days to complete. The Agent mode empowers ChatGPT to perform complex tasks autonomously by utilizing its own computer. This includes functions like checking calendars for upcoming meetings, planning meals, and analyzing competitors to produce presentations. Similar to the Operator function, ChatGPT Agents can navigate websites, log in, and execute tasks seamlessly. Furthermore, this feature improves productivity and streamlines workflows, making it an invaluable tool for users. Over the next few months, enhancements are expected to make Agent mode even more effective. Currently, it is exclusively available to Plus and Pro subscribers, offering significant advantages in efficiency and task management.
