The second attack transpired on April 13, when a Honda car approached Altman’s $27 million mansion, and a shot was fired before the assailants fled. Local security identified the vehicle and its owner, Amanda Tom, leading to an arrest where three guns were seized. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew emphasized the seriousness of gun-related crimes and commended the officers for quickly neutralizing the threat. OpenAI condemned the violence, stating that no form of aggression is acceptable in a democratic society. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in either incident, and both cases underscore growing tensions surrounding AI development and criticism.
