OpenAI and Oracle are launching the $500 billion Stargate program in Abilene, Texas, aimed at bolstering AI infrastructure. This groundbreaking initiative includes additional Stargate sites across Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio, consolidating nearly 7 gigawatts of capacity and over $400 billion in investments. OpenAI’s partnership with Nvidia and Microsoft, which has provided significant Azure credits, underscores the collaborative effort needed for AI development. OpenAI anticipates generating $13 billion in revenue this year, financing this large-scale project through its cash flow.
