Oracle and Google Cloud have strengthened their partnership, enabling Oracle customers to access Google’s Gemini models, starting with Gemini 2.5, through the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI service. This integration opens up new possibilities for use cases including multimodal understanding, software development, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval. Oracle plans to broaden access to the entire Gemini suite via integrations with Google’s Vertex AI, which will feature models for video, image, speech, and music generation, along with industry-specific solutions like MedLM for healthcare. Additionally, there are plans to integrate Gemini into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, enhancing workflows across finance, HR, supply chain, sales, service, and marketing. Customers can leverage their existing Oracle Universal Credits for Gemini access. This partnership highlights the trend of cloud providers collaborating to enhance enterprise access to cutting-edge AI tools, streamlining data integration and supporting developers in various industries.
