Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) has strengthened its partnership with Google Cloud (NASDAQ:GOOGL) by integrating Google’s advanced AI models, including Gemini 2.5, into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI service. This integration allows Oracle clients to create AI agents for multimodal understanding, advanced coding, and productivity automation directly within Oracle environments. Oracle will provide access to the full Gemini lineup through Vertex AI, facilitating video, image, speech, and industry-specific solutions like MedLM. The plans also include embedding Gemini into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, enhancing workflows in finance, HR, and marketing. Clients can utilize existing Oracle Universal Credits for deploying Gemini models. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian highlighted the ease of deploying AI agents, while Oracle Cloud Infrastructure President Clay Magouyrk emphasized the partnership’s commitment to delivering secure, enterprise-ready AI solutions. Oracle’s stock has seen a 47% year-to-date increase, reflecting market confidence in AI initiatives.
