Samsung Electronics is set to launch its groundbreaking Bespoke AI refrigerator powered by Google’s Gemini AI model in January, ahead of CES in Las Vegas. This premium appliance features advanced food recognition capabilities thanks to an internal camera that enhances its identification of over 87 items, surpassing the previous limit of 37 fresh foods and 50 packaged products. Users can benefit from an automatic grocery list system that recognizes handwritten and printed labels. The upgraded AI supports the AI Food Manager, offering ingredient tracking, recipe recommendations, and shopping suggestions based on consumption patterns. In addition, Samsung plans to integrate similar AI capabilities into its wine refrigerators, allowing for real-time inventory updates and detailed tracking of wine bottles. These innovations will roll out across various models, including the Bespoke AI Family Hub, and aim to elevate the kitchen appliance experience, demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to AI-driven home technology.
