Scalekit Nets $5.5 Mn To Build Authentication Stack For AI Apps

Scalekit, an AI-powered SaaS startup founded by former Freshworks executive Satya Devarakonda in 2023, has successfully raised $5.5 million (INR 48.4 Cr) in a seed funding round co-led by Together Fund and Z47, alongside notable angel investors like Adam Frankl and Oliver Jay. The funding will advance Scalekit’s secure authentication stack for AI agents, emphasizing passwordless login, two-factor authentication, and revocable access management. The startup aims to enhance its offerings by integrating background agent support, granular authentication logs, and prebuilt connectors for over 1,000 external applications like Slack and Salesforce. With a team of 25 employees already serving clients like Fello and Unstract, Scalekit is poised to enrich the burgeoning Indian GenAI ecosystem, which has seen over 140 startups collectively raise more than $1.5 billion since 2020, aiming to surpass $17 billion by 2030.
