Although Gemini Live was showcased at Google I/O in May 2024 and became publicly available in September, Brin hinted at an improved version on the horizon, urging drivers to wait for a more advanced release. The current model, he noted, is based on outdated technology. The launch of Gemini 3 in November showcased significant advancements, such as enhanced visual capabilities and immediate accessibility through search.
