Google has introduced three innovative Gemini-powered features for Google TV: AI-driven visual responses, deep dives into topics, and narrated sports game overviews. The standout visual responses allow users to query real-time scores and find where to watch games, as well as search for recipes with accompanying video tutorials. The deep dive feature enables detailed explorations of complex subjects, such as health or technology, accessible via the “Dive deeper” option or the Gemini tab. Additionally, sports enthusiasts can enjoy “sports briefs,” which provide narrated summaries of the latest updates from leagues like the NBA and MLB, making it easier to stay informed. Currently, these features are being rolled out in the U.S. and Canada, with plans for expansion to Australia, New Zealand, and the U.K. this spring. Since its limited launch in September 2025, Gemini has seen significant enhancements, including natural language settings adjustments and voice-search capabilities for Google Photos.
