However, AI adoption remains limited, with only 32% of teachers using it weekly and 40% not using it at all. Just 19% of educators report having an AI policy in their schools. Stephanie Marken from Gallup emphasizes that while AI enhances efficiency and quality, a significant gap in adoption persists, necessitating improved training and support. Notably, 65% of special education teachers believe AI can enhance learning material accessibility for students with disabilities. Yet, ethical concerns about AI’s impact on critical thinking and learning persist, highlighted by a study from MIT Media Lab.
