A 16-year-old from New Tampa, Eric MacDonald, has developed AceIt, a free AI-powered SAT prep app aimed at making SAT preparation more accessible. Recognizing the steep costs of traditional SAT tutoring, MacDonald utilized advanced algorithms and artificial intelligence to create a tool that provides personalized study resources directly on smartphones. Launched in November 2025, AceIt already boasts over 10,000 users and has received more than 100 five-star reviews. Users like Matthew Gibbons report significant improvements in confidence and test scores thanks to the app’s targeted question approach. MacDonald, a self-taught coder since age nine, handles all aspects of the app, including software, marketing, and design. As he aspires to expand his business and reach a larger audience, he aims for over 200 five-star reviews and dreams of making a positive impact on students nationwide.
