Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched its seventh Gemini Experience Center (GEC) in Troy, Michigan, in collaboration with Google Cloud, focusing on Physical AI solutions for the manufacturing sector. This center allows businesses to explore and implement real-world use cases, enhancing safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Central to this initiative is the TCS Physical AI Blueprint, which integrates AI-driven robotics, sensing technology, edge intelligence, and cloud orchestration for real-time insights and autonomous decision-making.
Key applications include autonomous patrolling, PPE compliance monitoring, and predictive equipment health monitoring, all designed to improve workforce safety. TCS President Anupam Singhal emphasized the importance of extending visibility in challenging environments, while Google Cloud’s Saurabh Tiwary highlighted the goal of creating data-driven, resilient enterprises. The Troy GEC, part of a global network that aims to have 13 centers by 2026, exemplifies TCS’s commitment to bridging human and machine intelligence in manufacturing to minimize downtime and enhance safety.
