The reality is that no significant jobs, apart from teenage modeling, are genuinely under threat from AI technologies like LLM chatbots. These tools are merely new iterations of existing software, lacking true agency or intent. Despite predictions of widespread job losses, AI has not delivered on promises made by its proponents, echoing past fads like NFTs. The impact of AI on writing, producing clichés and “word salad,” shows its limitations. As we transition through this phase of AI development, there’s a pressing need for tools to filter through the generated content.
