Google has launched the Data Commons MCP Server to give AI developers access to publicly available datasets via the Gemini CLI or Google Colab. The updated Gemini 2.5 versions enhance instruction following, reduce token costs, and improve multimodal capabilities. OpenAI’s ChatGPT for Business now includes shared projects for collaborative work, new connectors for tools like Gmail and Microsoft Outlook, and has achieved ISO 27001 certification for security.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has revamped its Marketplace, merging Azure Marketplace and Microsoft AppSource for smoother management of cloud solutions and AI applications. CData introduced Connect AI, which facilitates enterprise data access for AI agents while preserving data integrity. An initiative including Snowflake and other data firms aims to develop a vendor-neutral standard for semantic metadata, enhancing interoperability for AI tools. AWS’s Nova Act extension allows developers to build browser automation agents seamlessly. Lastly, Sentry’s AI code review is now in beta, identifying and resolving bugs efficiently.
