He noted that AI will help eliminate subjectivity, allowing healthcare providers to deliver more precise, patient-specific treatments. AI tools significantly reduce human error in clinical decision-making by analyzing vast amounts of medical data, thereby improving diagnostic accuracy. For instance, AI can identify critical clusters in cancer biopsies that human eyes might miss. Dr. Singh highlighted the necessity of interdisciplinary collaboration, citing that modern medicine integrates various fields like medical technology and data science. The evolution of diagnostic tools, from ultrasounds to genomics, has revolutionized healthcare. He pointed out that traditional reliance on extensive reading is evolving, as AI enhances, rather than replaces, doctors’ judgment amid changing disease patterns across India, reflecting the impact of lifestyle shifts and urbanization.
