James Thorley, Turnitin’s Regional VP, highlighted its seamless integration, allowing educators to transform potential misuse into learning opportunities. Annie Chechitelli, Chief Product Officer, noted how these tools undermine academic integrity by enabling students to present non-original work. The AI bypass detection feature is now available for users of Turnitin’s Originality add-on and iThenticate 2.0, reflecting the company’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity amid evolving technologies.
